Fair 2009

Ah, Fair.

You seemed a little different this year.

Maybe because we couldn't look out the back of the booth and see/smell fried bread.

Or it was the hot dog guy next to us was missing.

The lack of animals and sitting next to the fans at the Morin's.

Big empty spaces are not really a good sign either.

No mini-golf or diving dogs, but the racing piglets were pretty darn cute.

Although the big pigs still smelt, the goats and sheep were annoying as usual, and the cows especially were still very cute.

But it was HOT HOT HOT and good for some coldy cold shave ice!!

And because of that, I don't have too many pictures of anything but the booth.

Fair, Fair, FAIR!!

I love fair, ever since I was little I loved coming and now getting to spend four days doing nothing but people watching, it's FABULOUS. Especially since everyone, and by everyone I mean all the crazies, all come out to play at fair time. 

The Dairy Women had these stickers that came with a milk mustache (even though the mustaches were yellow, does that mean it was curdled?? gross.)

Instead of the Dock Dogs, this year they had FREEEEEEE miniature golf! How fun! Kennedy, Sierra, and I went and it was pretty good for being free. 

Turkey Leg?! I should have gotten an ear of corn for this picture but, I didn't think of it. Darn.

And if we weren't at the Shave Ice Booth, you could probably find us hanging out at with the Morin's at their barn with the cows. That would be me and Matt.

Hard work at its best!

On Saturday we went to the Monster Truck/Mud Bog but Aaron grabbed the wrong camera, so I gotta get the pics from Paula's camera. Guess that means another blog!

"Want to try some shave ice?  You want ice cream?

 Ice cream on bottom, ice and flavor on top. We have many flavors. Why is bubble gum blue? Why is this called Elephant Ear?"
