End of Year

Here is our Christmas/New Year/December post.

Paisley really enjoyed her first Christmas this year. She got lots of new toys that were 50% off when i bought them on Christmas Eve! WOoHOo. I wrapped them and made her open one, to which she kept looking at me like 'why am I not getting in trouble here?'

Our first Christmas together and trying to fit in both families in one day was kinda chaotic and we lost track of time, but we made it and had a pretty exciting Christmas with awesome presents!

2010 brought lots of NEW things, new cars, animals, marriage, jobs, etc. and hopefully we can keep those all things in 2011 and keep getting more new things!

-----------------------------------------------

So far in this New Year...

We meet Nathan's dislocated shoulder once again. He was snowboarding and will probably get surgery during Spring Break. He just started his new classes and has class on Friday night! How weird.

Paisley is bulking up and just being one cute pup. She's getting into trouble with the neighbors dog down the hill so we have to keep her inside unless we can be outside with her and watching. What a high-maintenance dog! But we still love her :)

I keep working and cleaning and being Nurse/Dog Whisperer Caitlin.
I've been trying lots of new recipes, some of which are not so great but we have to eat them anyway so those are always fun nights :)
I have put away all of the decorations and am getting ready for Valentines, our house may look like pink and red threw up all over it.

Here's a video from Christmas, hopefully they work and you can enjoy!

Halloween

So many parties, so little costumes.
We decided to have more fun than usual, haha, and bought costumes for all of the fun we were to have that weekend. And we are still recovering from all the lack of sleep.
Paisley also got in the spirit with a little jack-o-lantern toy I bought for her.

So we hope everyone had a FUN and magical Halloween(s) and all of these people send their love,

and last but not least,

The last few months

Wow. The last two months flew by and I can't believe is OCTOBER!!
Our fav. month of the year.

Nathan has been working his butt off on the farm making it look beautiful and already has  people asking about the farm house for weddings! A friend from high school's brother was interested and is already set on getting hitched up there in August! Very exciting.
Paisley obvi helps out also as our little billy goat. She eats anything and everything and loves to climb atop the equipment to lay out on.

Last month while putting up all the stone outside, he stepped on a nail and it went right thru his romeo's! After a few days of thinking it was fine, we ended up in the ER Friday night/Saturday morning with an infection.
(You can barely see it, but the red dot is where the nail came out...)

We sold my car a week or so ago and were looking all around for cars, without the internet it's been hard to craigslist...especially if your Nathan, (I think he was starting to go through withdrawals). But alas, we found a good one and bought it :)
Old car and NEW car!

The last week of September Nathan went on a hunting trip with Garth and his buddies.
They came back with a couple of trailer accessories.

Floaters

Pre-Note: This is what happens when you don't have internet and/or computer cords, you get posts from Summer in October...at least it's actually feeling like Summer in October :)

We bought rafts at Bi-Mart in Bend so we could float the Sunriver river while there and we didn't know they would come with such cool hats!!!
(they're really the cushions for the back person to sit on)
It was a long, cold float and we were starving by the end!
That trip was just Nathan, me, Billy, and Colby

And Paisley too :)

Then on a super hot day we wanted to float the Clackamas River, which was quite a trip to get too but really fun once we got on the water!
This time it was Nathan, me, Chris H, Matt, Kevin R, Nate, and Aaron-we had a big crowd and there were TONS of people out that day.

Puppy Play Dates

During fair we took Paisley to Doggy Day Camp while we were busy working all day, and I'm not really sure if she liked it (because she can speak to us, duh...just kidding), but we thought it was good for her to get used to other dogs.
My parents have their dog, Chloe, who we have taken Paisley to play with but I think that Chloe doesn't want to be BFF's anytime soon.

Robbie's dog Molly, whom we had owned for a whole 24 hours, long story, also comes over and this last time I think they actually got along, no barking at all.

Paisley

June

Here she is at 2 months old, when we got her.
She quickly learned to tricks and was overall the quietest puppy ever!
In that month she chewed quite a few things so we learned to keep the floor clean and pile high on top of our dressers.
Kennedy got her to jump up on the couches so in the morning after I let her out and feed her at 6 o'clock on the dot every morning, we go back to sleep together on the couch :)

July...

She has learned to jump even further...like from the couch onto the countertop so if we're not careful and leave mail on the counter, it will be destroyed.

She also has found her bark and will bark at every bird and fly. Also when people drive around back behind the barn, she gets protective and sits at the door barking then looking back at me.

Instead of chewing everything, she mostly likes electrical cords, sticks, dirt, grass, and rocks. Of which I can find millions brought into the house and all over the floor and couch. I think she thinks she is bringing me presents....but maybe instead of rocks she could be digging for gold.

Nate had to dig up our septic tank to get pumped and it was probably Paisley's favorite day so far because there was a massive dirt pile for her to play in.

She weighs 23 pounds (at the beginning of July), a step up from 16.9 in June. She had a skin rash kinda thing so we have to spray stuff on her legs, which she absolutely loves and we have to wrangle her twice a day. That's pretty fun for us.

What's Up With US?!

I figured I should post something...So here is where I will sum up the last.... month or so.
And there aren't really any pics because no camera=no pictures. Sorry!

My birthday was on June 6th...I turned 22, yay?!
I got my haircut. It was free. Then I got it re-cut to make it look normal (thanks Tara)!

June 8th I had a dental assisting ceremony and Nathan had a Construction BBQ on June 3rd.
We didn't attend the actual PCC ceremony because...well...It's PCC.

On June 10th we became proud parents of a puppy!
 This is Paisley.
(taken on photobooth, so it's not really that great)

She is 3/4 Rottweiler and 1/4 Doberman.
She's having fun meeting other dogs, kids, and people.
We don't love that she has chewed up both computer chargers, a rug, pillows, the couch cover, blankets, Nathan's underwear, sandals, socks, and everything under the bed. (The list goes on).
But she's awesomely cute and loves to climb the stairs, jump through the opening, and bounce on the couch and onto you. It will be sad when she has gotten too big and can't do it anymore.
She used to not wake up too early, usually 7 or 8 am.
This week it's been 4 am...NOT very happy.
She has barked a total of 6 or 7 times. She never makes noises!

June 19th was Portland's Naked Bike Ride.
Really no pictures, but just know we participated :)
And Nathan ran into a friend from high school...that was a awkward meeting place. haha

Family Reunions started June 21 and thru the 26th. We took Pailsey on her first camping trip and she did pretty well. Although she didn't like being tied up and she chewed through her leash...
She also broke the part that makes it stop when you push the button...
We keep reminding ourselves that she's the cutest everyday :)

Now Nathan is working on the farm with Garth, making everything look nice and beautiful.
He is also is taking two summer online classes to get his associates by end of fall.
I am chasing after Paisley and looking for jobs. I am trying to cook (yikes), keeping the house clean, exercising, and working on gettin' my body tan. (if the sun ever decides to stay out long enough)!

Maybe soon I can post pictures. Nathan has some on his camera, but there's no cord to connect camera to computer... minor details.
