The last few months

Wow. The last two months flew by and I can't believe is OCTOBER!!
Our fav. month of the year.

Nathan has been working his butt off on the farm making it look beautiful and already has  people asking about the farm house for weddings! A friend from high school's brother was interested and is already set on getting hitched up there in August! Very exciting.
Paisley obvi helps out also as our little billy goat. She eats anything and everything and loves to climb atop the equipment to lay out on.

Last month while putting up all the stone outside, he stepped on a nail and it went right thru his romeo's! After a few days of thinking it was fine, we ended up in the ER Friday night/Saturday morning with an infection.
(You can barely see it, but the red dot is where the nail came out...)

We sold my car a week or so ago and were looking all around for cars, without the internet it's been hard to craigslist...especially if your Nathan, (I think he was starting to go through withdrawals). But alas, we found a good one and bought it :)
Old car and NEW car!

The last week of September Nathan went on a hunting trip with Garth and his buddies.
They came back with a couple of trailer accessories.

Halloween 2009

Nate was... Bruno, which we haven't seen the movie I just thought the outfit was funny.
Caitlin was... a race car driver, I felt like I needed props like a flag or steering wheel.

Here's to buying costumes the night before. Let that be a lesson to ya.

Some Fun Ones

So I am trying to decide what camera I wanna get. I need a new one! The camera I have is the first digital camera I have EVER had. I got it for my birthday two years ago. I that it was pretty bad to the bone, but a couple months later is went faulty. Yeah, what was I thinking. Anyway, when it does work right, I like to take pictures that I think are pretty and I always see picturesque moments, envision them, and see landscapes or nature doing what she does best, and I wish I had a good camera to capture it. Well, here is what I got with my rinkety-dink ol' sony.
Portland: Keep it Weird!

I like this one cuz you can't tell whether it's rising or setting. Obviously I am not up at the butt crack of dawn, so it's setting.

I LOVE the pink's and oranges. It's nothing like Fall to have pretty sunsets.

Words to the Wise

Attention Halloween Celebrators:

Do not let your pumpkins come close to the boo's closet.
Results may vary.

My Favorite Season

Goodbye Summer! It was nice having you for the three days in which you decided to present yourself. Enough of that, let's move onto FALL! It started raining yesterday and decided to pour when me and Nathan entered Hic/Nailey's ward. SO we ran into the building and I was glad I did not wear heels. When I drove home later, my street was covered with these pretty little things:

It's been a bit blustery and I've had to pull out the sweaters and blankets.
Isn't fall the BEST?! It seems like everyone loves Summer, but nope. I hate it. It's hot and you get sweaty, sticky, and feel the need to take 3 showers a day. Here are my favorite Fall flavors:
*Apples. I love apple juice and juicy apples

*Cinnamon and Apple potpurri/candles. YUM! I wanna bath in it
*Visit Here!
*Rain. I love the smell of rain coming, the feeling of being rained on, the lightning and thunder rain possibly brings, and the clean feel of it.

*Snuggling up with Nathan and watching our fav. TV shows
*Wearing soft, comfy, warm clothes to lounge in
*Fireplaces/Woodstoves/Bonfires
*Halloween!
*The colors of fall are prettier than the dead grass of summer
*The sky: it's always dark but the sun seems to always try and poke its way out
*Shoes: I can break out all my closed toed shoes
*Mud
*School: well, it's always fun to see kids going to school with huge backpacks now that I'm not in school anymore. But I don't mind it either way :)
*Pumpkin pie, bread, patches, cookies, and decorating!

*Driving with the window down because my car overheats and the fresh air cools me down
*Festivals
*Corn Mazes
*Sleeping with the window open and not wanting to get out of bed cuz its too cold
*Hot Chocolate, Apple Cider, Yummy Chai Tea, Hot Black Tea
*Football Games

There are no downsides.
Love IT.
