I Like Quotes 2

"There are plenty of things out there that you can endorse, but not do anything to support. For instance, in Japan, I endorse a very popular energy drink called Pow Yong Power Jogging now juice. But I would never drink it. It makes you poop Hello Kitties."

Pretty Nice.

Kinda funny the first time they start dancing, and the song is catchy, but a little boring as it goes on. Not bad though (even though the outfits are HORRENDOUS)!

I Like Quotes

"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very rough, mean place... and no matter how tough you think you are, it'll always bring you to your knees and keep you there, permanently... if you let it. You or nobody ain't never gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit... it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward... how much you can take, and keep moving forward. If you know what you're worth, go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit."

Ringside

For Nathan's Birthday/He brought my dad some wood, my dad took us out to eat
at the Ringside steakhouse Downtown.
IT IS THE BEST PLACE EVER!
and really expensive...

Me and Nathan had actually been here once upon a time ago. On a breezy summer evening, I had just moved back home from California, and we wanted to spend a nice evening out in Nathan's new car...It's a long story and I MIGHT tell you later, but I'll just say we didn't eat here. We were just...here.

My dad's favorite thing here is their Onion Rings. And they were probably the best rings I have ever had. Crisp, not greasy. It's like they cooked them in heaven's oil.
Then we had salad (which Nathan is STILL talking about), cuz you know at those expensive places everything comes seperate.
Then we had our steaks:

They were't teeny little steaks with a carrot and a sprig of something that's only there for decoration, it was a hunkin' piece of cow with a huge side ( I had rice, Nathan chose the garlic mashed potatos), on a sizzling hot plate. We got stuffed but still ordered dessert.

And I am glad I did. The Chocolate Silk Pie is to die for! The crust is crushed almods in a carmelized glaze that crunches. The chocolates are so smooth and rich, but not too rich. It was perfect. (and came with strawberies :))

There are about 50+ awards that hang on their wall, and you have to make a reservation, and probably save up for a month before going, but it was DEFINATELY worth the work that only Nathan put into us going! (thanks for having a birthday and cutting down wood, we (okay you), deserved it)!

I give the Ringside a big two thumbs up and 15 gold stars.
(except the 12 year old that was working, and had too big of a sports jacket to even be legal).

Pet Peeve #1

WHY?!

Are drivers out there really thinking, "Hmmm that car (okay, mini-van) has a baby in it. I should be extra careful NOT to hit them." Or... "Man, I was really planning on crashing my vehicle into another car today, but it's not gonna be these people because they have a baby." Wouldn't want to harm a baby, because you know an adult or child just isn't the same.

I would like to hang a
LIVING ORGANISM ON BOARD.
**Please don't hit me**

We Watched These Cute Little Kids Trick-or-Treat

Then we headed to Billy's to hand out Candy to the all of ten kids that probably came down his street. Pretty lame, my mom said no kids really came out in my neighborhood either.

Dillon's Soccer Game

Last week, me and Nathan went to Dillon's Soccer game to take some pics and watch him play! It was his last game so I think all the kids were just excited about getting pizza afterward instead of the actual game.
(I'm pretty sure this was the kid who was running around body slamming people yelling PIZZA)

Dillion is pretty good too. Who knows he could the the Vietnamese David Beckham!!

Dillon SCORED! But my camera died before that, so I didn't catch it. That and Ronnie was distracting us because he is so CRAZY.

For the First Time in my Life

I VOTED!!
If feels good to be nationally recognized. haha
I first signed up to independant because really, I had no idea what anything meant. Until recently, I changed it to be Republican. Now I realize that I am not entirely one on one with the Republican's view. Oh well, now I can vote in Primaries :)
I got excited as I started reading the descriptions of all the measures. I wish there were more to vote for! My sister doesn't care, I'm voting for her, don't tell the government.

I am Pro-Life. I am also Pro-Gay Marriage. Anti-War. Pro-Guns. Health Care should be free, (go Canada!) Something should be done about the environment but I don't think that mankind is at fault for it's downward spiral. I believe that as much as the US declares it's freedom, it is not a free country. I think immigration is only as big of a problem as we make it to be as we try harder to keep them out. Standardized tests are a waste of time. Funding should go to all schools. The government spends money frivolously. It was not George W. Bush alone that created the problems we face today; look at the previous presidents.

Here's Lookin' at you America.

GOOOOO BEAVS!

On Saturday the 11th, I was interrupted during my shopping excursions when Nathan called me and told me he scored some seats to the Beaver's game! I was so excited I didn't even care that I only went to one store :) And having witnessed a parking lot mishap, we were a little late in leaving. Still, we were really excited that Billy and Jess came with us too.

We didn't get to see the kickoff and first touchdown in the FIRST 5 MINUTES! But the game was awesome. Even though we sat by a bunch of grumpy goose old people. Not to mention the crazy kid that told EVERYONE around that he was
getting black and orange dippin' dots and then showed off his black tounge a-waggin'. (I think Nathan was jealous of his dippin' dots, I saw him staring)...jk babe.
We left during half-time and found Aaron's house right next to the stadium. We watched the reat there, then left and sat in traffic until we got to Monmouth and visited Jew (Nate) and Gloria at Western. Me and Nathan reinisced about the good 'ol days when we went there, and kinda still wished we did. Maybe someday we will go back to a University. OSU would be great, Student Tickets for More Football Games!
GOOOOOOO BEAVS!

SyKart or SIGHkart

Last Friday, Nathan, me, Jess, Billy, and Colby (do you see a theme here with who he hang out with these days)?! haha. We decided we were bored so we went to Sykart. Indoor Go-Kart racing, like Malibu Grand Prix, but indoors. Well.... I would say it was fun, but not totally awesome. Expensive. That and within five minutes of being released, a drunken Colby slams into you (obv. didn't read the no bumping rule) and I have no idea what to do so I sit there until someone comes and pulls me back so I can go again. Otherwise it wasn't so bad. I would suggest it to you if you had NOTHING else to do...I mean, we got to wear some cute outfits!

Billy and Jess

So I always forget when I have a helmet on, you can't see anything but my eyes. That is the reasoning behind scary eye mcgee there.

Me and Nathan sportin' our new threads.

Some Fun Ones

So I am trying to decide what camera I wanna get. I need a new one! The camera I have is the first digital camera I have EVER had. I got it for my birthday two years ago. I that it was pretty bad to the bone, but a couple months later is went faulty. Yeah, what was I thinking. Anyway, when it does work right, I like to take pictures that I think are pretty and I always see picturesque moments, envision them, and see landscapes or nature doing what she does best, and I wish I had a good camera to capture it. Well, here is what I got with my rinkety-dink ol' sony.
Portland: Keep it Weird!

I like this one cuz you can't tell whether it's rising or setting. Obviously I am not up at the butt crack of dawn, so it's setting.

I LOVE the pink's and oranges. It's nothing like Fall to have pretty sunsets.

Prison Camp

These are from a LONG time ago. Like a month...
Nathan, me, Billy, Jess, and Colby headed to Prison Camp on a Friday --> It's not an actual campground: First come first serve, costs 00.00 dollars, and nobody patrols. There is a actual prison but not high security. Mostly people there for drug possesion or stealing. They also roam around the grounds but I'm sure they are harmless. lol.
The first time we all went, we found the PERFECT spot! It was awesome, there is space to park the two cars in front, and it also blocks us in so nobody can enter our little camp. It lowers into this little hole that we can have a fire (when we can burn), cook, and sit around. Then our tents are on the sides. It's the best spot ever. Trust me.
Only bad thing: No Bathrooms. Make sure you bring the blue "man towels."

Anyway, Nathan, Colby, and Billy were there to ride in the morning and me and Jessica just like to camp :)

Nathan in his cute get-up

Me on Nathan's Bike. A little too big for me.

I don't know if the picture does it justice, but Nathan moved the Passport onto a higher bank, and it was practically sideways. Bad picture cuz my camera is horrible. But if you were there, you would be freaking out like Nathan and Billy were. :)

Saturday morning, we cleaned up and Me and Jess drove back home and stopped at Coleman's 99 South and had milkshakes. YUM they have the best ones in any flavor you can think of.
For $6.00......not so yum.

My Favorite Season

Goodbye Summer! It was nice having you for the three days in which you decided to present yourself. Enough of that, let's move onto FALL! It started raining yesterday and decided to pour when me and Nathan entered Hic/Nailey's ward. SO we ran into the building and I was glad I did not wear heels. When I drove home later, my street was covered with these pretty little things:

It's been a bit blustery and I've had to pull out the sweaters and blankets.
Isn't fall the BEST?! It seems like everyone loves Summer, but nope. I hate it. It's hot and you get sweaty, sticky, and feel the need to take 3 showers a day. Here are my favorite Fall flavors:
*Apples. I love apple juice and juicy apples

*Cinnamon and Apple potpurri/candles. YUM! I wanna bath in it
*Visit Here!
*Rain. I love the smell of rain coming, the feeling of being rained on, the lightning and thunder rain possibly brings, and the clean feel of it.

*Snuggling up with Nathan and watching our fav. TV shows
*Wearing soft, comfy, warm clothes to lounge in
*Fireplaces/Woodstoves/Bonfires
*Halloween!
*The colors of fall are prettier than the dead grass of summer
*The sky: it's always dark but the sun seems to always try and poke its way out
*Shoes: I can break out all my closed toed shoes
*Mud
*School: well, it's always fun to see kids going to school with huge backpacks now that I'm not in school anymore. But I don't mind it either way :)
*Pumpkin pie, bread, patches, cookies, and decorating!

*Driving with the window down because my car overheats and the fresh air cools me down
*Festivals
*Corn Mazes
*Sleeping with the window open and not wanting to get out of bed cuz its too cold
*Hot Chocolate, Apple Cider, Yummy Chai Tea, Hot Black Tea
*Football Games

There are no downsides.
Love IT.

Beauty Makes Its Mark In WA

Last weekend, me and Nathan, Nic/Hailey, James/Jen and kids went up to Washington and camped out here Friday Night.

It was BEAUTIFUL! It reminded me exactly of this church camp I went to when I was in middle school. Although it was near Cour de' Lane, Idaho, and this was in Washington.

Nathan and the girls sitting on the dock. There wasn't too many people out there but it was such a pretty day and the water wasn't too cold. We brought jet skies and Nathan played around on it while me and Kennedy waited for the rest of the gang to come down.

Here are pics of us on the ski's:
Nic and Bree, Hailey, Nathan and CC, and Me and Nathan. Nathan tried real hard to throw us over, but with my lung capacity and ability to scream really loud, we only got inches away from drowning.

And some other random pics for fun!
My hair was being extra crazy that day
CC got a little too wet

**I think I want a house on this lake. And live in it forever.**
