Dirty

A Dirty Boy
(he was wearing pants that day and it still got him...)

Keeps a Very Clean Car!

Nathan's dreams have come true as he now has a lifted truck with tires and black rims.
Just be careful driving up the driveway or hopping into it, gotta make sure your shoes are clean!

Paisley

June

Here she is at 2 months old, when we got her.
She quickly learned to tricks and was overall the quietest puppy ever!
In that month she chewed quite a few things so we learned to keep the floor clean and pile high on top of our dressers.
Kennedy got her to jump up on the couches so in the morning after I let her out and feed her at 6 o'clock on the dot every morning, we go back to sleep together on the couch :)

July...

She has learned to jump even further...like from the couch onto the countertop so if we're not careful and leave mail on the counter, it will be destroyed.

She also has found her bark and will bark at every bird and fly. Also when people drive around back behind the barn, she gets protective and sits at the door barking then looking back at me.

Instead of chewing everything, she mostly likes electrical cords, sticks, dirt, grass, and rocks. Of which I can find millions brought into the house and all over the floor and couch. I think she thinks she is bringing me presents....but maybe instead of rocks she could be digging for gold.

Nate had to dig up our septic tank to get pumped and it was probably Paisley's favorite day so far because there was a massive dirt pile for her to play in.

She weighs 23 pounds (at the beginning of July), a step up from 16.9 in June. She had a skin rash kinda thing so we have to spray stuff on her legs, which she absolutely loves and we have to wrangle her twice a day. That's pretty fun for us.

Graduates

Portland Community College: Dental Assisting Program
June 8th 2010

This is just the BLUE group (with a few girls missing).

There were 3 groups total; Blue, Yellow, and Red.
31 Girls and 1 Boy, (and 4 babies)!
We started out as 50 (2 boys) and each term you either made it or didn't.
I think the most stressful times of my life happened during this program, which was only 9 months long!
But those 9 months seemed like years with all the knowledge they had to throw at us to memorize.

Timea, Me, Rachel, and Aimee (one of the girls who had a baby during the year)

Here I am on stage, being nervous... haha

Just some members of my fan club :)

Nathan had a final that night but raced over from Rock Creek (to Sylvania) and made it for the 2nd half of the program!

Thanks to Tucker and my mom for taking these pics!

What's Up With US?!

I figured I should post something...So here is where I will sum up the last.... month or so.
And there aren't really any pics because no camera=no pictures. Sorry!

My birthday was on June 6th...I turned 22, yay?!
I got my haircut. It was free. Then I got it re-cut to make it look normal (thanks Tara)!

June 8th I had a dental assisting ceremony and Nathan had a Construction BBQ on June 3rd.
We didn't attend the actual PCC ceremony because...well...It's PCC.

On June 10th we became proud parents of a puppy!
 This is Paisley.
(taken on photobooth, so it's not really that great)

She is 3/4 Rottweiler and 1/4 Doberman.
She's having fun meeting other dogs, kids, and people.
We don't love that she has chewed up both computer chargers, a rug, pillows, the couch cover, blankets, Nathan's underwear, sandals, socks, and everything under the bed. (The list goes on).
But she's awesomely cute and loves to climb the stairs, jump through the opening, and bounce on the couch and onto you. It will be sad when she has gotten too big and can't do it anymore.
She used to not wake up too early, usually 7 or 8 am.
This week it's been 4 am...NOT very happy.
She has barked a total of 6 or 7 times. She never makes noises!

June 19th was Portland's Naked Bike Ride.
Really no pictures, but just know we participated :)
And Nathan ran into a friend from high school...that was a awkward meeting place. haha

Family Reunions started June 21 and thru the 26th. We took Pailsey on her first camping trip and she did pretty well. Although she didn't like being tied up and she chewed through her leash...
She also broke the part that makes it stop when you push the button...
We keep reminding ourselves that she's the cutest everyday :)

Now Nathan is working on the farm with Garth, making everything look nice and beautiful.
He is also is taking two summer online classes to get his associates by end of fall.
I am chasing after Paisley and looking for jobs. I am trying to cook (yikes), keeping the house clean, exercising, and working on gettin' my body tan. (if the sun ever decides to stay out long enough)!

Maybe soon I can post pictures. Nathan has some on his camera, but there's no cord to connect camera to computer... minor details.
