A Lemon of Sorts

I have a new friend!
I have had three like him before; all within the last three years :)
My computer went to shits this last week.
You heard me. It was VERY upsetting.
It's kinda like when a Doctor comes out to tell their family that their loved one has past.
I wonder if the "Geniuses" at the Apple Store feel the same way.

They are also my friends.
Since there are two that now know who I am.

I have no pictures.
I have no papers, powerpoints, NOTHING from school. It's kinda like I never went!
(oh wait, I have a large sum of money I owe...dang it).

My Family History Powerpoint is gone.
But I think I may have it written on a scratch piece of paper somewhere...

The Excel Spreadsheet with ALL my student loan info, pay off, amounts I have paid, etc.
GONE!

And the coolest? No Microsoft Word, PP, Excel, or Calendar.
Good thing I start school soon huh?!

I am venting. This is basically pointless.
I still like Mac's.
I don't think I will ever be a PC.
But PLEASE! For the love of peas and carrots, all I ask for is a computer that doesn't require me to visit the genius bar every other month!

And this new iPhoto; (It comes standard on newer ones. I think Hailey, you have it, and I don't get it)!! HELP!

And now there saying that half of Americans will get the Swiney Flu?!
Oy Vey, it just gets better.

Runi + Evan

Rungnapha and Evan got married at the court house in Hillsboro a few weeks ago, and this last Saturday (8/8) she had the Laos ceremony (mainly for her parents), so me and my sisters went (but we kinda missed the ceremony part) before they went back to Medford, where they are now living.

Happy couple on their "after ceremony bed"
After the ceremony they have to go upstairs and get down to baby makin' time for like an hour while their family and friends wait downstairs...
But they were already married and previously lived together so they kinda skipped that part to get the rest of the party over with.

Cake. nomnom. and food.

And eating cake, pre-shoving in face time.
All the jewlery she's wearing is from family that give it to her to wear during that day.
And the white strings are given to them from everyone at the ceremony, they say a blessing and tie it on their wrists.
.
.
.
Oh and this is how I know her:
Rungnapha worked at DQ since the beginning of time like the rest of us, and is a friend of my sisters, brother, and me. She and Evan just graduated from OSU and are living in Medford now, which is where his mom lives.
Runi gave me the nickname Trout and is still really the only person to call me that. haha.

It was fun, and I hope she enjoys that rice cooker we got her :)
haha

Fair 2009

Ah, Fair.

You seemed a little different this year.
Maybe because we couldn't look out the back of the booth and see/smell fried bread.
Or it was the hot dog guy next to us was missing.
The lack of animals and sitting next to the fans at the Morin's.
Big empty spaces are not really a good sign either.
No mini-golf or diving dogs, but the racing piglets were pretty darn cute.
Although the big pigs still smelt, the goats and sheep were annoying as usual, and the cows especially were still very cute.

But it was HOT HOT HOT and good for some coldy cold shave ice!!
And because of that, I don't have too many pictures of anything but the booth.
:(
