Our Valentines

Our Valentines Celebration started with buying a TV!
It's quite possibly the biggest thing in our house and we're glad it fits.

Saturday night we went out to Duke's and saw The Band Perry with Meredith, Brandon, and Chris for 5 dollars!!
And they're actually famous, they sing Hip to My Heart, it's on the radio)!

Sunday, the actual V-Day, we did homework, rented Couple's Retreat (pretty funny, only because of Vince Vaughn, and a lot of cheesy at the end) and bought a heart shaped pizza!

Chicken/bacon/olives/white sauce. DELICIOUS.

In case you don't listen to the radio, here ya go.
post edit---I never watched this before I posted, so sorry for my really awesome camera skills, apparently I can't hold my hand still for a minute.

Our 'Working' Vacation

TO VERMONT!
I was way too excited that I was finally going!
And now I cannot wait to go back, like during the Winter when it's all snowy

Me and Nathan boarded the plane, and I sat behind him to Chicago, we waited a little bit and boarded our final plane to Boston!
That time we got to sit next to each other, and we watched Weeds, which made the flytime go by so much faster!

We got picked up by Chelle and Brig, and off to our fancy hotel.
Chelle, Nathan, and I walked to Cheesecake Factory to because apparently United doesn't like to give out food unless you pay $9 for it. Boo them.

We woke up and started walking!
I don't think we actually walked that much, but it was hot and there was so much to see that after a while we were pooped. We sat on a bench, people watched, and ate italian ice. YUM!

The Duck Tour was cool; we saw lots of things without having to walk around!
haha. And went on the Charles River.
We also went to Harvard, ate at a mexican place with Mario and Leilani which was so GOOD!

Oh and it was also Boston Pride Festival that day. Especially good people watching.

I think Boston had way too many people for me, and way too much traffic. But it was really fun and I would love to go back when I have a million dollars and shop!
We picked up Kevin later from the airport, he was in VirGinA. ha. and Off we were to Vermont!

We visited Woodstock, not the actual one in NY (I thought it was...) and Sharon (watched the Joseph Smith video), ate tons of ice cream in New Hampshire, drove around Darthmouth, got some shirts that say Poop on them and oh yeah, PAINTED the INN!

Nathan was concrete hero, and helped with the slab, while me and Kevin were painting.
I can't believe how much paint I got on myself, and I really tried to not get my clothes splattered with it.

And we ended off with a birthday party!

On the way back, we got to the airport, and they told us we had no plane. So Nathan called the Hilton and we got a room which was...nice with his two twin beds and no space to roam. haha
But we only had to sleep for 5 hours, and get to the airport for our flight to San Fran.

Things Learned: I hate flying, Hilton hotels are not as cool as Paris Hilton, Don't let me paint doors, It's easier to paint trim with a baby paintbrush even if it takes longer, Maddies loves purses and always seems to find mine and my glasses, New Hampshire has the best ice cream, Anders does not like flaming fire unless it comes out of an onion volcano, East Coast hot dog buns are cut weird so BYOHDB (bring your own hot dog buns west coasters), Eddie farts really loud but is still super cute, the Pub has really really good chicken wings but if 2 boys and girl share a bathroom, don't eat too many on one night at the same time.

Drink It!

I have been looking for these tea packets EVERYWHERE!
I tried Safeway, and Thriftway, even Winco...no luck. I was getting a little deppressed thinking that the only place I could ever get it was at Starbucks. Paying a little over 2 bucks everytime I needed to satisfy my urge for the deliciousness of it all.

One quick trip to get tortilla chips and chocolate milk (for some reason I craved chocolate milk one day and I HATE milk... kinda weird but I saw some kids drinking it...) and low and behold, walking down the aisle to the register and the lone box of tea just had a shining light around it. As if it were truly meant to be :)

Good ol' Laurel Store. They will probably have everything you ever need, and it right in the middle of nowhere.

Oh, IT is TAZO Passion Tea. The best thing ever created for mankind to drink drank...drunk? well you can't get drunk off it, but it is my little slice of heaven on Earth. If you can't read the bag in the picture, its a mix of tropical flowers, like hibiscus, roses, poppy's, oranges, and lemons, and etc. It turns this absolute beautiful color of pink, like my sheets which I used as the background for the package, and also helps relieve the womanly issues that come around every once and a while. You can drink it hot, but that's gross with this kind. I enjoy mine cold, with a little bit of pure Hawaiian sugar in the raw or lemonade.
