This Is Why...

We are no longer letting Nathan near any BICYCLES in the near future.

Remember the incident of 2006.
In case you don't, here's the harm done.

Seperated Shoulder.
Nathan: 0
Bicycle: 1

Colby has a house in Sunriver, so all the boys went down there for their Spring Break.

8 stitches, some pain shots, and a good inspection of his bone
Nathan: 0
Bicycle: 2

You just never know when an inanimate object might strike.

But I guess I never really had good luck with bicycles either.
I split my chin open when my handlebars twisted while going down my street, ran into many bushes, and broke a pair of my glasses.

We are not bike people. Sorry to Going Green people but we must stick to driving vehicles.

Uno, Dos, Tres!

Feliz Aniversario!
Another successful year marked by Natelin on the map.

This is 3 years.
Have I ever dreamed that I would be 'dating' the same person for 1,095 days at the ripe age of 17?
Nope.

It feels a little monotonous.
Although I guess that's life.

It didn't hit me till the beginning of this month, just how long THREE years actually is.
A really long time.
It's something that gets hard to wrap your mind around.
Marriage I see as different, because marriages last forever (well, you hope it does going into it).
People are married for 50 years, and while still amazing, I hope all marriages last 50 or more years. But dating...
We were not legally binded together for 3 years. Or more...depending.
(I know its bound, binded is not a word, but it sounds better).
Isn't dat veird?!

Of course I am so happy.I know that we love each other the most we have ever loved another person.
We have been through a lot together.
And yet somehow we still manage to find the good in each other :)

We're in it to win it.
And that's all that counts :)

Here's to another fabulous year and many, many more to come!

Identity/Age Crisis

As I get older (because 21 is soooo old, right)?!
I'm kidding
Anytime I go somewhere that I have to show ID, like signing up for a CPR class or getting pulled over, or places like work, the streets, the mall....
About 4 out of 5 times I get the crooked eye, raised eyebrow, 'yeah right I don't believe you at all' LOOK.

(Old Picture, from My dorm in CA)

People have come to the apartments, and asked if the apartment manager is there.
Um, I am the ONLY person in that office, sitting behind the desk.
Did you expect someone to come out from the closet, or from a file cabinet?

I went to sign up for a CPR class at THPRD.
I went up the GIRL at the desk and said,
"Hi, I need to sign up for a class but I don't have a current membership."
"um, how old are you?"
Well this confused me and I often speak before I think and started saying 18. Because that's how old you have to be to get a card. Then I said oh wait, just kidding 20.
That probably made me look stupid. Oh well. I got it anyway.

I went to Victoria Secret to buy roos and a new bra, (TMI haha)?
Checking out, the YOUNG LADY who could only be like 17 herself. Asked,
"Are you 18?"
Well OVER.
"Oh really? Well okay did you want to sign up for an Angels card?"
NO. becuase I hate coming here. every employees voice sounds so fake and high-pitched it hurts my ears and ask what panties i like (do you really care because I don't want to share), and you questioned my age. NO THANK YOU.

I got pulled over a tthe end of January, and the policeman asked me if I ever got a ticket.
Yeah like 3.5 years ago. Then he gave me that LOOK and asked how old I was.
YOU HAVE MY LISCENSE! DO THE MATH.

The newer people at Dairy Queen wonder what high school I go to.
They suggest I can't be older than 16/17/18.
Ohhhhhh. But I can be.
One girl said, "Oh I used to work at the Aloha DQ"
My reply, "Oh I used to go there with my friends, I knew you kind of looked familiar"
Her reply, "Uh, I worked there like 3 years ago, you were prolly like 12."
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!

Do I really look that young?
I mean I guess it's cool for when I'm a lot older I might still look this young and beautiful...haha jk
but it's getting out of control.

I always thought I looked older too.
How sad.

Me, Not 12. Nor 17.
and I'm really missing my longer hair.... :(

Mr. and Mrs. Rodgers

Here is the Bride and Groom (Natalie and Chris). She went to high school with Nathan and he was friends Billy's brother and I think Kevin...Anyway their vows and stuff were at Laurel Community Church and the reception was at Meriweather Golf Course. It was pretty nice there too. If it was hot outside we could have gone outside too but it was a little chilly.

Thier Cake

And again proof we were there. haha this one of us dancing is bad. We were just movin' so fast that my dress ballooned up. um and it makes me look box-y and large.  BUT we were the only ones of our friends that got up and danced so we win!

A Dream Come True

Well, not really. I'm pretty sure the person inside is the other girl I ever see working at the store, but it was still a surprise when we walked by and saw HELLO KITTY!

Here's Me and Kennedy with HK

Brad Paisley

About two weeks ago, Tara and I were talking about concerts and we realized Brad Paisley was coming soon! We looked up tickets and they were fairly decent seats so we asked who else wanted to go and got Nathan and Brandon to come too!

We went out to eat at Olive Garden and got to our seats just as Crystal Shawanda came on stage. The only song of hers on the radio is that sad one, but the other songs she sang from her cd were really good! I'll definitely be checking that out.
Dierks Bentley sang, was awesome, good-looking, drank some guys beer and popcorn, and was completely awesome again.

By the time Brad Paisley actually came on I was so pooped (and my camera died), it was a long day, but it was still so much fun! He is the BEST entertainer I have ever seen in concert. Seeing him in Virginia with Nathan and Chris was probably more fun because he's from WV and Virginia was just a bunch of rednecks and dirty cowboys...and college kids. At the Portland concert, it was like skanky girl dressed with boots and barely there denim skirt every two feet. But were entertaining when they fell down the stairs! HAHA I wish I got that on video.

here's proof of us:

I have a video of Brad singing Layla (orig. Eric Clapton).
But it won't upload on here :(
Which is funny because my mom made us watch VHS of Eric Clapton because she loved him and we all hated it, but I do like this song. I think we all thought he was creepy looking and had an ash tray attached to his piano so he could smoke while playing. HAHAHA
