We have picked up a few things here and there and have realized that working does pay off eventually!
A BBQ
We debated on charcoal vs. propane bbq for a while before actually buying. We both agree that charcoal is 8 million times better but we don't have the patience or time to wait for it to cook since I usually don't get home until 630-7. Propane is faster so we went with it.
Paisley is scared by it, she sits on the stairs and growls at it, kinda funny.
Pillows
It only took me about 2 months to actually get them done, but alas they sit beautifully on our couches.
Speaking of Couches...
We now have lots of sitting areas. I randomly found these new couches on craigslist and they matched the one we got from the Wall St. warehouse. We were pretty excited, they're a little different but the same style so that's all that matters. We now have 2 couches, 1 loveseat, and 2 recliners.
Woodstove
Nathan found these on craigslist and we got 2 for the price of 1! While I was gone, he set one up in the shop upstairs and now have a source of warmth in our house. It gets up to 80 degrees so we couldn't be happier. We now spend most our time in the garage; Paisley loves to take naps in front of the fire.
Kitchen Table
We bought this as a christmas present to ourselves but had nowhere to put it. With the woodstove we thought we should put it upstairs so now we can actually sit and eat instead of standing at the counter or sitting on the couch.
Paisley
Every single toy we have boughten her gets shredded and torn in about 10 minutes, tops. We found toys that stated that they were indestructible...yeah, they have never met Paisley because she goes through toys like no other. Her favorite is stuffed animals, she actually does snuggle with them. She weighs 68 pounds now! Shes really good at not running away or coming back when you call her and just being an awesome dog. She also LOVES to pose for pictures. As soon as she sees the camera she sits down and stares at me to take a picture. Shes funny like that.
Nathan
This term in school is ALMOST OVER! He has to take 2 more math classes and then I think *hope* that he will be done. He upgraded his dirt bike and took it for a spin two weeks ago. He goes and plays basketball at the gym with friends almost every night which is fun for him.
Caitlin
Work, work, work. That is my life! Although every 2 weeks it is very rewarding to actually have money :) and then it all goes to bills but at least I know its flowing :) I have been thinking about taking the prereq's for hygiene school, which are all biology and organic chem, so YIKES! I will have to think about that one for a bit.
