Since we picked up Nathan's today I can actually post pics about these two little wonders.
haha
We bought mine in June, after searching high and low for affordable bling that I liked and would want to wear forever. Although I think it would have been smart to exchange it with a
smaller size since we had 30 days to do so, and we knew it didn't fit.... Oh well.
So when Nathan actually proposed, we were going to go in the next day to get resized.
Turns out they can't.
If they did, the heat from the process or something would reshape the way the diamonds fit so they would all be bejangled.
After asking 3 shops at the mall about it, the last one told us about a plastic thing you can put since they don't use metal fillers anymore.
We went in to Claires, I asked the girl, and she said, 'OH! Ring snuggies, Yeah!!'
Uh sure if thats what you wanna call it.
So I have this:
I can't really feel it so it's not funky at all and it actually keeps the ring even on both sides so it doesn't keep sliding around backwards.
Nathan's ring:
He wanted a black ring, and we looked at a couple places who had ceramic black, but that's just dumb because I'm pretty sure Nathan would break it with all the things he does everyday.
And since he's allergic to metals, it had to be ceramic, titanium, or tungsten.
Tungsten is really kinda heavy but supposedly indestructible.
It's just like his old ring, with slanted sides and flat black.
Pretty awesome and unique. I love it.
So here's to the old and the new :)
(which would be our old and new and improved rings) ha
